At Cheyenne Eye Clinic & Surgery Center, we’re committed to providing exceptional vision care for patients of every age and stage of life. We’re excited to welcome Dr. Skylar Riley to our team of experienced eye care professionals.
A Colorado Native with a Passion for Patient Care
Dr. Riley earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a research concentration from Gonzaga University before receiving her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry in Oregon. Following graduation, she was eager to return home to Colorado to begin her career serving the community she loves.
During her clinical training, Dr. Riley gained extensive experience caring for patients of all ages, from young children to older adults. Her areas of interest include comprehensive eye care, glaucoma management, and specialty contact lenses.

Dr. Riley is passionate about helping patients achieve and maintain healthy vision throughout every stage of life. Whether she’s performing a routine eye exam, managing glaucoma, or fitting specialty contact lenses, she focuses on delivering personalized care that meets each patient’s individual needs.
Her thoughtful and logical approach to patient care centers on addressing concerns directly while ensuring patients understand their diagnosis and treatment options. She believes education is an important part of helping patients make informed decisions about their eye health.

As a Colorado native who grew up in Lafayette, Dr. Riley was excited to return to the Rocky Mountain region after completing her education. She was drawn to Cheyenne Eye Clinic because of its strong reputation for patient-centered care and collaborative team environment.
She values being part of a practice that shares her commitment to providing exceptional care while serving families throughout the region.
Beyond the Exam Room
When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Riley enjoys everything the Mountain West has to offer. She loves spending time outdoors, swimming, traveling, playing cribbage, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. She also enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her tuxedo cat, Bruce.
