I think Dr Anne Miller was very aware that I did not have cataracts and believed there was something more going on and she was correct. I had a tumor on the pituitary gland. Thanks to her my quality of vision may come back after being miserable for almost two years. I cannot say enough for Dr Anne Miller and how grateful I am to her. Cheyenne Eye Clinic is blessed to have her on staff.Richard

Kyle Piwonka headshot

Kyle Piwonka, D.O.

Dr. Kyle Piwonka joined the Cheyenne Eye Clinic in 2016. He specializes in the medical and surgical management of diseases of the retina and vitreous. He has served as the Principal Investigator for several nationally recognized clinical research studies involving novel pharmacological therapies.

Dr. Piwonka was born and raised in West Texas. His interest in ophthalmology began when he was merely nine-years-old. It was at this age that his grandmother suddenly lost vision in her left eye due to macular degeneration. Though young, he noticed how one’s ability to distinguish a person’s face and expressions was strongly associated with their persona. She had lost this ability. As a result of his grandmother’s condition, he was drawn to the study of eye and has always found it to be incredibly interesting.

Dr. Piwonka enjoys long distance runs and spending time outdoors with his girlfriend, Danielle, and two Australian Shepherds, Wrigley and Finnegan.
